What do you see in the SEEC logo? Possibly…
1. A river runs through it. The Upper Skagit watershed. Canada into the USA.
2. A Canada Goose at the top.
3. An American icon, the eagle below the border blue.
4. Forests are green, Ross Lake and the Skagit River are blue.
5. A mountainous terrain is suggested in the contours.
The image emphasizes the interaction between two countries resolving an issue of water. It does not highlight the Ross Dam which prompted the dialogue and eventually led to the High Ross Treaty. SEEC’s focus is on the healthy use, research, education on and conservation of the Upper Skagit Watershed.
