Matt Love
Matt Love is a partner at Cascadia Law Group where he represents public utilities, Tribes, and other governmental entities on natural resource and environmental law matters. Prior to joining Cascadia, Matt was a partner at Van Ness Feldman and also has served as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Wildlife and Marine Resource Section and as Assistant Attorney General for Washington State in the Fish, Wildlife and Parks Division. Matt also served as a Fulbright Scholar in Ghana, West Africa, where he taught courses in environmental, natural resource, and public international law. Matt was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia, West Africa where he worked on fisheries and agriculture issues.
He holds a J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School and a B.A. from the Evergreen State College. Matt grew up on Camano Island, and spends his free time backpacking, camping, and exploring throughout the Pacific Northwest with his family and friends.
