Hugues Létourneau

Hugues Letourneau has over 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector, most recently as director with the Shareholder Association for Research and Education. In this role, he has developed strategies, programs and fundraising efforts geared at mobilizing investors to drive positive environmental and social outcomes. He has also led consulting projects with international organizations, such as the OECD.

Since moving to Vancouver in 2013, he has developed a devotion to environmental conversation and attachment to the region through open water swimming, skiing, hiking and cycling across the lower mainland of British Columbia and Washington State. He served as the treasurer of the Vancouver Open Water Swim Association from 2018-2020 and has volunteered in international election observation missions. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from the University of Toronto. He is a Project Management Professional.
