Sumallo River Stocking Evaluation: Progress, 1989

The Skagit River system supports a popular sport fishery for rainbow trout and to a lesser extent Dolly Varden char. About 13,000 angler hours or 3600 angler days are expended annually to catch an estimated 3600 (1985) to 5700 (1986) rainbow trout.
