The International Interpretation Program (IIP) is a partnership between Skagit Valley
Provincial Park (SVPP) and North Cascades National Park Service Complex (NOCA).
Supported by the Skagit Environmental Endowment Commission (SEEC), the IIP promotes
the ideas of transboundary conservation, wilderness values, and engagement with public
lands, and strives to inspire stewardship of this unique watershed.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
The Upper Skagit Watershed Native Char Project, conducted in the Skagit River
watershed of BC, was designed and coordinated through combined efforts between
Canadian and US resource agencies. Duane Jesson and Iain Lunn (BC Fisheries,
Surrey) acted as the contract monitors and provided administrative and technical
direction for both the project planning and biological components of the project. Ed
Connor (Seattle City Light, Seattle, WA) acted as the project authority and provided
valuable administrative and managerial assistance for the project, as well as essential
telemetry equipment. Other administrative and logistical assistance was provided by
Chris Tunnoch, Brian Clark, Doug Biffard, Tom Blackbird (MWLAP/BC Parks) and the
US National Park Service (North Cascades National Park).
