Brodie Guy

Brodie has served in executive roles with public funds where he’s led teams investing in sustainable Indigenous and rural development as well as landscape-level conservation finance throughout British Columbia, Canada. Driven to uplift people and organizations who are creating positive change, Brodie specializes in principles-based corporate governance; Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and socially responsible investment; the start-up and restructuring of private companies and their transformation into Indigenous ownership; and facilitating the formation of public-private partnerships. Brodie has advised government and philanthropic organizations across Canada and multinational conservation organizations on globally significantly conservation projects.

Currently Brodie is the CEO of Island Coastal Economic Trust working to build a sustainable and resilient coastal economy across Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and the islands and inlets from the Salish Sea to Cape Caution.

Brodie and his partner Jessica are grateful to be raising their children in the beautiful ancestral territories of the Pəntláč, E’iksan, Sahtloot and Sasitla peoples (K’ómoks First Nation, Comox Valley). Brodie dreams of his young children growing up deeply connected to the wonders he’s been blessed to encounter across Canada’s remarkable landscapes.
